InstagramCaitlyn Jenner is enjoying her whole new world!
Less than a week after making headlines for her Vanity Fair cover, the Olympic athlete decided to spend part of her weekend by the pool with fellow girlfriends who can relate to her experience as a transgender woman.
"Learn from those who have walked the path before you," she wrote on social media while enjoying a sunny Saturday. "#TransIsBeautiful #LivingOurTruth #JustTheBeginning."
(With the release of her Vanity Fair cover on June 1, Caitlyn has chosen to publicly identify as a woman and E! News will refer to her using female pronouns. In stories published prior to this date, Caitlyn was referred to as Bruce and male pronouns were used.)
Looking into the mountains, Caitlyn is seen wearing a blouse with denim jeans and pink wedges. She also wraps her arms around her close friends while they pose for the meaningful shot.
The picture comes just one day after the I Am Cait star revealed to her 2.4 million Twitter followers that she recently traveled to San Francisco to visit the Human Rights Campaign.
"Learned so much this week…" she shared. "Unbelievably moving. Can't wait to share more with you."
It's been nothing short of a remarkable week for the parent of six who decided to publically identify herself as a woman.
In addition to receiving plenty of support online, Caitlyn has already received offers to judge the 2015 Miss USA pageant and appear on Amazon's hit show Transparent. She will also be honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage award next month at the 2015 ESPYs.
"In the past few months, the overwhelming outpouring of support from all over the world for my journey has been incredible," Jenner said in a statement. "However, being honored with this award, which is named after one of my heroes, is truly special. For the first time this July, I will be able to stand as my true self in front of my peers."
Before the big show, though, Jenner is simply ready to live her life with the support of family, friends and strangers alike.
"I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self," she shared with fans on Twitter. "Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me."
