As if we needed another reason to love Melissa McCarthy.
The 44-year-old Tammy star made an appearance on The Daily Show on Wednesday night to promote her latest movie Spy as well as her new clothing line.
And in typical McCarthy fashion, the Bridesmaids beauty brought no shortage of laughs, particularly when she strutted on stage wearing a dress covered with photos of Jon Stewart's face.
Brilliant.
"This is my Jon Stewart dress," The Heat star said with a smile as she modeled her ingenious look while the audience cheered with enthusiasm.
"Lovely," Stewart replied before dropping an epic quip of his own. "You know, I've wanted to see this to you for a long time—I am all over you like a cheap suit."
Asked "what Times Square shop" crafted the outfit, McCarthy said, "Sadly this is me, making it. This is how I'll rock myself to sleep crying every night when you stop doing the show."
She added that her hubby Ben Falcone is soon going to have a matching kimono as Stewart marveled over the dress and couldn't help but note he not very photogenic. "I am the king of the unflattering freeze frame," he said.
While McCarthy is undoubtedly having a career high thanks to the overwhelming positive review for her new film, it's hard to believe that we first fell in love with the actress when she played Sookie St. James on the hit series Gilmore Girls from 2000 to 2007.
