UPDATE: Huckabee's sr. communications advisor J. Hogan Gidley tells E! News, "The plan when we launched the Huckabee for President website simply was to rotate supporters pictures the first of every month." As a result, it was unfortunate timing when the Duggar endorsements disappeared.

It seems that Mike Huckabee's support for the Duggars may have undergone a subtle shift.

The controversial family's endorsement of the Republican presidential hopeful has disappeared from the 59-year-old politician's campaign website. According to reports, archived versions of the campaign site show that the 19 Kids and Counting star's statements were removed sometime Monday night.

Less than two weeks ago, the conservative politician spoke out in support of Josh Duggar following the allegations that he molested underage girls in 2002 and 2003. The 27-year-old reality star admitted to acting "inexcusably" when he was teenager, and last night, in a preview for the Duggar's forthcoming Fox News interview, it was revealed that Jessa and Jill Duggar were victims of their brother's sexual misconduct

"Janet [Huckabee] and I want to affirm our support for the Duggar family," Huckabee wrote in a Facebook post on May 22. "Josh's actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, 'inexcusable,' but that doesn't mean 'unforgivable.'"

Huckabee's website currently features an "I Like Mike" sidebar, which includes quotes from his various supporters. Last week, the Duggar family patriarch and matriarch, Jim Bob and Michelle, enjoyed prime placement on the Arkansas governor's campaign website.

"Governor Huckabee is a man of faith who is very wise, and will help get our country back on track," read Michelle's statement.

"America needs Governor Huckabee for president! Governor Huckabee has the communication skills of Ronald Reagan, and a common sense business approach to government" added Jim Bob

The Duggars endorsement, as well as Huckabee's public defense of Josh Duggar, have both been removed in the wake of criticism aimed at the conservative politician, who became a trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday for comments he made during a February speech at the 2015 National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville, Tenn.

"Now I wish that someone told me that when I was in high school that I could have felt like a woman when it came time to take showers in PE," the presidential hopeful said after identifying the transgender community as a "threat." "I'm pretty sure that I would have found my feminine side and said, 'Coach, I think I'd rather shower with the girls today.' You're laughing because it sounds so ridiculous doesn't it?"

On Tuesday, when Huckabee was asked if the Duggars would be joining his campaign, the politician said that's a question for the headline-making family.

"I don't know, it will be up to them. Ask them I don't know," he said in a video captured by BuzzFeed news
