Jada Pinkett Smith married Will Smith when she was very young, but that doesn't mean she wants her children to follow in her footsteps.

"Heck yeah, don't do it," she advised when she stopped by The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM. "Thank God I have a husband who is just a gangster partner because can you imagine taking that road together from 25 to 44? Woo!"

The Gotham actress, who has been very honest in the past about her "open" marriage to Smith, also clarified what she meant by her famous comments that indicated she and Smith were free to date whomever. Host Howard Stern, however, noted that neither one seems to act on it.

"You gotta trust who you're with, and at the end of the day, I'm not here to be anybody's watcher," Pinkett Smith explained. "I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man."

She added, "I trust that the man that Will is is a man of integrity. HE's got all the freedom in the world, and as long as Will can look at himself in the mirror and be OK, I'm good."

Even though it seems like she has a laissez-faire attitude when it comes to her marriage, it's actually quite the opposite. "You've gotta be strong," she said. "It takes hard work, Howard."

She is also very real when it comes to her husband's wandering eye, but she doesn't worry about it because she thinks it's "unrealistic" to expect a man not to check out other women.

"If your man can't really see another woman's beauty how the hell is he going to see yours?" she asked rhetorically.

Speaking of beauty, the radio show host couldn't help but notice the Magic Mike XXL actress' own looks, and asked her if it gets awkward around her house when she's wearing a bikini with her children's friends hanging out. It turns out when son Jaden Smith's friends come over, it can get awkward LOL. She revealed that her son has asked her to "cover up" in front of his friends because it can get "embarrassing."

"It's been a trip because I've got two boys," she joked.

Stern even asked if some of Jaden's friends have confessed to having a crush on her, but she said that even if they did she "wouldn't hear it from them, but I would definitely hear it from poor Jaden."

When it comes to disciplining her children, Stern wondered whether or not Jaden and Willow's own success gets in the way of her trying to punish them. But these parents keep it real with their kids.

Pinkett Smith reminded the host that she has told her kids, "'We're rich, you're not,'" to which she added, "They took that real seriously."
