The Duggars are about to break their silence!
Almost three weeks after Josh Duggar addressed reported accusations that he molested underage girls as a teen, Jim Bob Duggar and wife Michelle Duggar are sitting down with Fox News to share their story.
"Tomorrow, we will sit down with Megyn Kelly on Fox News to share our hearts with you about the pain that we walked through as a family twelve years ago," the couple wrote on their official website. "The tears we all shed and the forgiveness that was given. We appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers for our family at this time."
While what will be discussed remains top secret, Kelly admitted to viewers Monday night on her show that she's more than ready to ask some tough questions.
"I'll take that reputation as a tough but fair journalist," she said. "However, this isn't going to be a cross-examination of a family. It's going to be an interview. I want to hear their story. And I think America wants to hear their story now. Nothing is off limits."
Well, maybe "nothing" is a bit harsh.
She continued, "I don't plan on getting into the specific details about what was done because my understanding is the victims don't want to discuss that either."
Ever since the allegations surfaced, multiple advertisers including General Mills, Payless Shoes and Choice Hotels have decided to remove their ads from future Duggars-related programming.
The popular reality show has already been pulled by TLC and Hulu with no official word or plans to bring the series back.
Kelly's discussion with the Duggars will air on The Kelly File Wednesday at 9 p.m. A special one-hour special reportedly filmed at the couple's home in Springdale, Ark., will also air Friday at 9 p.m. on Fox.
