Chrissy Teigen crushed the 2015 CFDA Awards red carpet in a pristine white Solace London gown with a steamy center slit (plus Stuart Weitzman sandal heels), earning a top spot on our best dressed list. But later on that very night, the 29-year-old had a harrowing wardrobe malfunction when her center slit tore a few more inches higher than the Solace London designers intended.
But in true Chrissy fashion, the supermodel didn't even try to cover up her wardrobe faux pas, instead taking to Instagram to share the mishap.
"Wardrobe malfunction of the highest caliber. Let's just say the slit took it upon itself to rip 5 inches higher," Teigen captioned her hilarious snapshot. "Thank you @stuartweiztman for letting me be your date and for always making my feet happy and legs sexy!!!#CFDAawards."
And lucky for Mrs. John Legend—who arrived at the CFDA Awards on the arm of shoe designer Stuart Weitzman—she had a gorgeous vintage Swarovski clutch on-hand to disguise the five-inch slit mishap. Nice save!
