Supergirl

Supergirl is faster than a speeding bullet, but something tells us CBS didn't intend that speediness to extend to the pilot racing onto computers more than six months before its premiere. Yes, the Supergirl pilot has leaked online.

The new CBS drama series starring Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl hit torrent sites early this morning. Will Internet piracy be Supergirl's Kryptonite? According to TorrentFreak, NBC's Crowded, the midseason comedy starring The Good Wife and True Blood veteran Carrie Preston, iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove and The Tick's Patrick Warburton, has also leaked early.

Supergirl also stars Calista FlockhartMehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan and Chyler Leigh. The series hails from super producer Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler. Its debut on CBS is slated for a Monday in November once CBS wraps up its football games on Thursdays and moves The Big Bang Theory and Life in Pieces to their Thursday night timeslots. The Supergirl trailer has more than 10 million views on YouTube, becoming a viral hit in its own right.

Benoist, whose credits also include The Good Wife, Glee and Whiplash, said she had a moment when she put on the tights and cape for the first time.

"I just had this injury so I had this eye patch on. It was kind of embarrassing," Benoist told E! News. "But the second I put it on, something shifts inside of me. It's kind of impossible not to feel strength and empowerment and positivity and hope. It really is pretty surreal."

CBS declined to comment on the leak. And no, we won't tell you how to get the pilot. TV rules, yo! If you've got a hankering for some Supergirl check out the epic trailer.
