Wiz Khalifa took to the stage tonight at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards to pay tribute to Paul Walker

The rapper gave a heartfelt performance, which was presented by Furious 7 stars Ludacris and Tyrese, of his hit single "See You Again."

Charlie Puth, who sings on the track, opened the emotional ballad on the piano—guaranteeing that there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

The music video broke records after its release in early April and Puth took to Twitter to thank the legions of Walker fans.

"7 million hits in 2 hours. i know you are watching down on all of us paul, the whole world is thinking of you," he wrote

Footage of Walker from the franchise's most recent film, as well as the six others from the past 14 years, is featured throughout the music video, honors Walker's legacy in the mega-popular film series and shows his close relationship with all of his castmates.

During an interview with BET, Khalifa opened up about the hit single and its inspiration.

"My whole objective was to make something that everybody can connect with. It feels personal, but it's something that everybody can feel too. It's not so personal that you're disconnected to it."

As for tonight's performance, mission accomplished.
