John Legend Can't Wait for ''Wonderful'' Wife Chrissy Teigen to Host the 2015 Billboard Music Awards: Watch Now!

"I used to read Billboard growing up and try to study the charts and use it as my tool to understand the music industry," Nick Jonas adds in a preview clip for the show

The premiere of Taylor Swift's star-studded "Bad Blood" music video isn't the only thing going down at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (even though it seems like)—and Nick Jonas and John Legend are here to tease the show.

While we've been longtime fans of both singers for years (Jonas since his JoBro days and Legend after his 2004 hit "Ordinary People"), it may come as a surprise that the talent musicians had yet to land their first top 10 hit (as solo artists) in the Billboard Hot 100—until this year.

"I used to read Billboard growing up and try to study the charts and use it as my tool to understand the music industry," Jonas, 22, says in a clip promoting the upcoming award show. "My first song on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist was "Jealous." It was an amazing feeling to see the song grow each week to the top 10 was one of the highlights of my career, both with my brothers and as a solo artist."

Likewise, Legend also recalls his first No. 1 hit before gushing over wife Chrissy Teigen

"I've been in the business for 10 years, sold millions of albums and I finally got my first number one in the hot 100 with "All of Me" and I was ecstatic," he says. "The song of course is special to me, I sang it at my wedding, wrote it for my wife and about our relationship."

Teigen and Ludacris will host the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, which will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (this will mark Ludacris' second time hosting the ceremony).

"I'm looking forward to the wonderful host of the Billboard Awards—my wife!" Legend adds in the video with a giant grin before Teigen tells fans to expect some surprises on Sunday.

"When I was asked to host the Billboard Music Awards, I was like ‘Do they even know what they're in for...?" the 29-year-old supermodel says before adding, "I have never worked with Ludacris before. Hopefully everyone has prepped him, on me."

Notable finalists for the 2015 show include Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor, Sam Smith and Iggy Azalea

Last year, Jennifer Lopez opened and closed the ceremony with two memorable performances, and she was presented with the honorable Icon Award for her years of work in the biz. Additional big winners at the 2014 show included Justin Timberlake, who took home eight accolades, as well as Robin Thicke and Pharrell, who were honored for their hit "Blurred Lines."

The 2015 Billboard Music Awards will air live Sunday, May 17 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
