The Cannes Film Festival has not been kind to Sophie Marceau...or her ensembles.

Marceau had the unfortunate experience of suffering yet another wardrobe malfunction at the famed film festival, this time by accidentally flashing her nude underwear that she wore underneath her suit-style gown. The French actress appeared to be completely oblivious of her snafu as she made her way up the stairs on the arm of a companion.

Although she made sure to hold her dress to the side so that she wouldn't trip or step on it, it seems her preventative actions were a little overzealous and resulted in the peek-a-boo look at her granny panties. Accidents aside, she looked gorgeous in her gown and took her look to the next level with a bold choker wrapped around her neck.

Unfortunately, this wasn't the actress' first wardrobe malfunction at Cannes (nor will it be the last fashion faux pas to hit the red carpet). Back in 2005, Marceau not only stunned the crowds with her beautiful looks and dress, but she also shocked fans when a strap fell off and exposed her entire breast. James Bond's girls have been known to show off some skin, but no one expected The World Is Not Enough Bond girl to reveal that much.

Other actresses including Lupita Nyong'oNaomi Watts and Michelle Rodriguez have also dazzled on the red carpet of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, but the Fast and the Furious actress dared to reveal the most (after Marceau, of course!). But Rodriguez's look was intentional, as she showed some skin in her sexy sheer panel-effect dress by Zuhair Murad.

Watts also has been dominating the red carpet, wearing floor-sweeping gowns from Elie Saab and Ralph Lauren that will make your jaw drop, gasp or both! The women have been absolutely slaying the red carpet, and we can't wait to see what else they have in store.

We can only hope wardrobe malfunctions are kept to a minimum.
