Keeping Up WIth the Kardashians: About Bruce is going to have everything you expect from any look inside the lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family.

And so much more.

"It definitely is Bruce's story, but it's coming from a very…it's very raw, incredibly rough," Khloé Kardashian described the upcoming special about how the family dealt earlier this year with Bruce Jenner's revelation that he is transitioning into a woman. E! News' Maria Menounos caught up with Khloé, Kylie Jenner and mom Kris Jenner today before the NBCUniversal Cable upfront presentations in New York City.

(At this time, Bruce Jenner has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise.)

"It's shot very differently because so much of it was happening in very real time," Khloé continued, "but you get such raw, real reactions from all of us, ‘cause there's a lot of things that are coming to the forefront while we're taping."

Questioned about the timing of the two-part special, to be followed in July by an eight-part docu-series about Bruce's journey, Kris said that they wanted to be able to help other families faced with similar issues.

"I think the reason we did the special was that so the people that have been watching our show for so many years [they'll be taping season 11 soon!] and have been invested in our family can really see what the kids and I went through with Bruce," the family matriarch explained, "and that maybe it brings some comfort and hope to somebody going through the same thing."

Asked about a particular powerful moment seen so far in a preview clip that has made the rounds, in which Kris tells Kim Kardashianthat it almost feels as though her life with Bruce never existed, Kris told Maria, "Well, I felt like, 'Did my life, did it matter, was it real?' And that was how I was feeling at that moment before I had time to really digest it."

"It was just definitely really raw and something that some of us didn't see coming," Kris concluded, "and you see that, this is like Khloé said, a very different epsidoe of Keeping Up. "You see, raw, raw, raw footage that we just didn't touch and you see it happening while we were going through it."
