So many mixed emotions among The Vampire Diaries fans right now, as they prepare to say goodbye to Nina Dobrev's Elena on tonight's sixth season finale. Ian Somerhalder hit the CW Upfront carpet to let us in on what to expect as the Elena-less show moves forward, how "epic" Damon and Elena were, and of course his personal-life mega news: His recent marriage to Nikki Reed, and their South and Central American honeymoon. Suffice to say: the newlywed was literally glowing amidst a sea of congratulations from his CW family on today's carpet.
"Amazing. It's great," he told me of life as a newlywed. "It's the best time I've ever had."
He even showed off his "incredible" wedding ring, revealing that Nikki "designed it."
