Uh, excuse us. That was not the result we were hoping for, and definitely not a result we were expecting.

Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars tonight, while Noah Galloway, Rumer Willis, and Riker Lynch were all named as finalists in a result that was even more and somehow also less shocking than Willow Shields' elimination a few weeks ago.

We have one thing to say to you, Dancing with the Stars, and America:

Fox

That may be our favorite gif at the moment, but we are not happy at all. Not. Happy. At. All.

Nastia Liukin absolutely deserved to be in the finals. No question about it. Rumer Willis and Riker Lynch also deserve to be there, and no matter how great and heartwarming and much-improved Noah Galloway is, he was absolutely the one who should have gone home tonight, simply because he was the least amazing of the four remaining contestants.

Unfortunately, the world doesn't work the way we think it should, and Nastia was eliminated, despite her sweet dance with Len Goodman last night. And we are mad

Noah's journey has been incredible to watch, and we were crying right along with everyone else when he proposed to his girlfriend last night, but his dancing was simply not on the same level as anyone else's and it's unfair to him to say that it was. This is supposed to be a dancing competition, and in terms of dancing, Nastia hardly ever made a single misstep.

Plus, simply in terms of scores, Nastia out-scored Noah every single week, and there's a huge difference when you add up their scores from the entire season. Nastia comes away with 429 points out of 470 total, and Noah ends up with 378 points total. That's not even kind of close.

Flo Rida was there tonight along with the cast of Disney Channel's Teen Beach Movie, but honestly we're too distraught to care.

Congratulations, Noah, Riker, and Rumer, who whill all be moving onto the finals next week. May the odds be ever in your favor.

The live finals of Dancing with the Stars air next Monday at 8 p.m. and Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.
