Even more star power is coming to TV's hottest new show, and if we already couldn't wait for the fall TV season to get here, we can wait even less now.
The cast of Empire took to Fox's Upfront presentation this afternoon to help announce that Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, and Alicia Keys will all be making guest appearances when the show returns.
Season two has also been increased from 12 to 18 episodes and will be split between fall and winter, unlike the first season which premiered in the winter.
Empire was one of the biggest hits of this season and broke records when every single episode increased in viewership. The finale garnered around 17 million viewers with a 6.8 demo rating, which was an 82% increase from the premiere.
We have no doubt that when season two finally gets here, those numbers will only go up.
