Twerking, hip thrusting, ball-talk, sliding into DMs...

There was a lot of excitement during E! News' chat with the Green Bay Packers players (and perhaps aspiring singer-dancers?) who made a guest appearance on Pitch Perfect 2 today.

Linebacker Clay Matthews, offensive linemen David Bakhtiari, T.J. Lang, Josh Sitton and Don Barclay joined Aaron Rodgers' younger brother and fellow football player Jordan Rodgers for a rendition of Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" for the anticipated sequel, and lived to tell the tale.

"Twitter, long story short. Just getting in contact with Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman," Bakhtiari tells us when asked how they got a role in the film (isn't social media just the best?).

E!

"I was tweeting Jordan [Rodgers] all the time, just exchange quotes of the movie and they wrote an article, our beat writers of the Packers, wrote an article that hit BuzzFeed," he continued to explain.

"Max Handelman's a big football fan. Read the article. Went on Elizabeth Banks' Twitter and followed me, then from there it was a couple DMs and getting these guys' schedules coordinated for about six months then we were out in Baton Rouge filming."

Oh yeah, slidin' in the DMs. You may still find yourself surprised to hear that these big, burly men were quoting Pitch Perfect, but when asked what attracted them to the flick, Bakhtiari simply said, "Um, have you seen the movie?" Fair.

Rodgers was also asked why his older brother, the quarterback of the Packers, wasn't down to bust a move and hit a high note with his teammates. "He just doesn't have the voice, let's be honest," Jordan quips.

That may be true, but if dancing skills run in the family, then Aaron must have some killer booty-shaking moves.

Watch the clip above to see some of the guys twerk (!) and to hear what they have to say about Tom Brady's balls, er, Deflategate.
