The former couple is sparking speculation of a romance rekindling after reuniting at a 2015 Met Gala after party last night in NYC.
Following the annual red carpet event, the 21-year-old "Boyfriend" singer and the 22-year-old brunette beauty hung out at Rihanna's bash at Up & Down. A source tells E! News that even though the exes spent a lot of time in the same room together hanging out with pals like Kylie Jenner and Tyga, Bieber and Gomez didn't have too much of a run-in and "exchanged some words" over the course of the night. The source adds that Bieber spent most of his night "dancing and having a great time with his friends."
"He hung out with Kendall [Jenner] and that crew a bit as well," the source tells us. "Everyone was dancing and having an amazing time."
But that's not all. Later in the night, the Biebs was caught on video giving a shout-out to Selena. While greeting fans from the backseat of his SUV, Bieber yelled out to the paparazzi, "Selena looked gorgeous at the Met Ball!"
Oh, Justin...
Despite his run-in with Gomez, it sounds like Bieber was more focused on fashion last night than anything else.
A source close to the Biebs tells E! News of last night's Met Gala, "It meant so much to Justin. It was definitely his entrance into fashion. He was honored and happy the whole time. He really had a good time with [designer] Olivier [Rousteing]. They have become friends."
