David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham snuggled up before taking flight to celebrate his 40th birthday tomorrow with his close friends and loving family. Their exotic destination is the luxury Amanjena Resort near Marrakesh, which of course holds symbolic value to the couple as they renewed their marriage vows there in 2004.
"So excited to be celebrating David's birthday x #DB40," tweeted the fashion designer.
Always looking posh, his wifey Victoria has been brainstorming the fashionable ensemble she will be wearing to his lavish bash. It seems she may have opted for a vintage Yves Saint Laurent piece in hot pink with onyx trim and buttons.
David and Victoria, plus their posse of four adorable children, will surely cherish the memories made at the resort modeled after a sultan's palace and dubbed a ‘peaceful paradise.' The extravagant retreat features private pools as well as an oasis of palm and olive trees.
Actress Liv Tyler and her partner Dave Gardner recently arrived in Morocco to celebrate the soccer stud's huge birthday milestone. The duo was spotted at Marrakech airport today walking hand in hand with anticipatory smiles on their faces.
Other stars the lovebirds invited to the party include Tom Cruise, Guy Ritchie and TV chef Gordon Ramsay.
