We laughed, we cried, we said goodbye to the "longest-serving member of the greatest f—king news team," The Daily Show's Samantha Bee.

Jon Stewart and The Daily Show paid one heck of a tribute to Bee, who is leaving to do her own show on TBS as part of a new deal she has with the network. The Canadian comedian and actor has been with the show since 2003. In the goodbye package, viewers saw Bee handle the various Republican Conventions like a boss and give her face an instant erection with a penis pump. But of course the tribute spotlighted some of Bee's pieces on more serious issues, like a woman's right to choose, race, rape and more.

After the clips, she walked out in tears. Yes, we're crying with you.

Take that bow, Samantha Bee! You deserve it.

Bee is executive producing and writing a new TBS sitcom with her husband Jason Jones and she'll also produce and host her own show where she'll "apply her smart and satirical point of view to current and relevant issues."

"We're thrilled to have Sam join Jason at TBS and really make this a family affair. We actually have their kids coming in next week to pitch us animation," Brett Weitz, executive vice president of original programming for TBS, said in a statement. "Like her fans around the country, we absolutely adore everything about Sam, from her straight-faced sarcasm and ruthless wit to her uncanny ability to mine comedy gold from just about any awkward situation. After watching Sam's work for years, we knew that her distinctive humor and talent belong at the front of her own show."
