Nobody thought the day would come when we'd hear of a possible Kanye West and Taylor Swift collaboration, so when that distant dream became a possible reality, we couldn't stop wondering when this greatness was going down.

And, unfortunately, it doesn't look like it'll be anytime soon, because the 1989 singer doesn't really know, either.

E! News' Jason Kennedy asked the blond beauty the burning question during a recent sit-down interview, and Swift simply explained, "We've hung out, gone to dinner, talked and he's one of those people who's always throwing out ideas, so that was one of the ideas that was thrown out."

She continued, "There were lots of other ideas he has, you can imagine. But, no creative decision has been made up about the next record."

Maybe this is all a ploy to do a suprise sneak attack of a new Yeezy x Swift (Sweezy?) single? We can only hope.

"She wants to get in the studio and we're definitely going to go in," West said during a recent interview with On-Air With Ryan Seacrest.  "Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I'm down to get in the studio and work."

He added, "I don't discriminate, I don't have an elitism of music because of like how many Grammys or you know, the amount of ratings you get on an album. I that think everyone loves music whether they love hip-hop, alternative, country, and if I could be involved in giving people any type of energy, advice in the studio, whether you're Beyoncé, whether you're Taylor Swift, whether you're Jay-Z, whether you're Beck, whoever, and they can be reciprocal with that, I'd like to be involved with that."

Then let's do the damn thing!
