Hillary Clinton better not count on Stacey Dash's vote once the 2016 elections arrive!

The outspoken actress and Fox News contributor, who has been a vocal opponent of Barack Obama and his administrations policies, recently sat down with Meredith Vieira for her talk show. When asked if she's feeling pressure to vote for Clinton because she's a woman, Dash fired back.

"Probably, but I don't care because I feel the same way," she said on Wednesday's all-new Meredith Vieira Show. "It's the person who's going to lead this country the best. That is what should be the criteria. It shouldn't be anything other than that."

Her comment led some to speculate that she wasn't exactly ready to back the former first lady anytime soon. "So I take it you're not supporting Hillary Clinton?" Vieira asked. Dash replied, "No, absolutely not."

The conversation also turned to the debate surrounding gender pay gap in this country. Recently, Rita Wilson spoke out about gender inequality in Hollywood, Washington D.C. and Fortune 500 companies.

Vieira also revealed statistics that women "make 78 cents for every dollar that a man makes." Dash, however, doesn't believe in such a gap between the sexes.

"I feel like it's an excuse," Dash explained to the audience. "It's the same thing with race, it's an excuse. Stop making excuses."

She continued, "If there are opportunities, seize them and be prepared for them and be the best if that's what it takes. If you have to be extraordinary, then be extraordinary."

But when Vieira suggested that her 22-year-old daughter may not have pay equality with her male peers until she's 65, Dash still wasn't convinced.

"If you want to be pissed off about it, then be pissed off about it and work harder for it," the actress shared. "I don't think us complaining about it because there is a law passed that we get equal pay."
