The 2015 Billboard Billboard Music Awards is rapidly approaching, and the award show is stacked with some of the biggest names in Latin music. Artists such as Marc Anthony, Romeo Santos, Jennifer Lopez and many more stars are set to perform at the coveted award show. But one name you should familiarize yourself with is Belinda. Belinda Peregrín, that is.

The 25-year-old singer has been breaking expectations (and records) and finding herself at the top of the charts for her numerous records and songs. Check out these need-to-know facts to know about the talented songstress:

1. She Released Her First Album at 14: While most 14 year olds take part in school plays, the young talent was singing to an international audience, and according to Billboard, selling more than 800,000 copies of her self-titled album worldwide. Oh, and did we mention she was also performing in front of millions of people around the world at age 14? Belinda performed to 1.5 million attendees during her Fiesta en la Azotea tour.

2. TV Starts: Before she was singing to packed music venues, she was lighting up the small screen on Corazones al límite and Cómplices al rescate. But wait a second? Does this pop princess look familiar to you? This brings us to our next fact about the "En la Obscuridad" singer.

3. Disney Darling:  Here's a trip down memory lane for ya! The star played the role of Marisol Durán in Cheetah Girls 2 with our favorite cheetah gals: Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan and Kiely Williams. Remeber when they all sang "A la Nanita Nana"? Too precious!

4. Chart Topper: Her latest album, Catarsis, opened up on the  No. 2 spot on the Latin Pop Albums chart in 2013. However, that's not all for this pop singer. The blond beauty has placed four top ten titles on the chart as well!

5. All Hail Belinda: She's been dubbed the Latin princess of pop. With a résumé like Belinda's, it's hard to not to give her that fitting title. Plus, the singer has collaborated with names such as Pitbull in "I Love You...Te Quiero" and Juan Magan in "Se No Te Quisiera."
