The twins who played Michelle Tanner for eight years on Full House from 1987-1995 told Women's Wear Daily they just found out about the new Netflix series when John Stamos announced it on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening," Mary-Kate told Women's Wear Daily on Tuesday.
Mary-Kate and Ashley have both taken a step back from acting recently. Ashley's last credited acting role was in The Jerk Theory in 2009 and Mary-Kate's was the 2011 film Beastly. When Netflix announced the new show, they said they were in talks with the Olsen twins and several other cast members who did not have contracts yet, including Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier.
