There will be a new face when The Good Wife returns for season seven. And yes, it seems pretty obvious The Good Wife WILL return for a seventh season on CBS, but that has yet to officially be confirmed. Cush Jumbo will recur on the legal drama, E! News has confirmed.

Details on her role are being kept under wraps, but it's no secret that The Good Wife will be down an investigator next year after Archie Panjabi and her character Kalinda Sharma leave the show…Unless the show goes totally soap opera and Kalinda doesn't leave, she's just in a horrible accident and comes out looking like Cush Jumbo?! We're kidding…obviously?

Florrick, Agos and Lockhart will be without an investigator once Kalinda leaves because Robyn (Jess Weixler) has been MIA for most of the season.

Jumbo's other TV credits include the British version of Getting On and Torchwood. She recently made her Broadway debut in The River opposite Hugh Jackman.

The Good Wife stars Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick, Christine Baranski as Diane Lockhart and Matt Czuchry as Cary Agos. After a lengthy election storyline, Alicia won the State's Attorney race, but—Spoiler Warning, so turn around now—was forced to give up her seat by the Democratic Party in order to protect a state senate election that involved voter fraud. What's next?

"I think she'll find the good in it and she'll probably fight twice as hard," Margulies told us. "But I can guarantee you, it's going to cause conflict in the courtroom."

Deadline first reported Jumbo's casting.

The Good Wife airs Sundays, 9 p.m. on CBS.
