The MTV Movie Awards just turned super. Superhero, that is!

The latest Avengers: Age of Ultron clip debuted during the show, giving us the first new glimpses of the flick since the last trailer dropped during March Madness.

Ironman Robert Downey, Jr. introduced the exclusive sneak peek at the end of his adorably humble acceptance speech for the night's Generation Award, and we have to say it did not disappoint.

The clip features RDJ as Ironman (would it be unfair to label him the crowd favorite?) launching a full-on assault. It's pretty much the ultimate fight scene, with Ironman leaving total destruction in his wake. If this is just a taste of the craziness of the full movie we've got a lot in store.

And, it seems that the evening was a whole Avengers-themed affair. On top of RDJ being honored with the Generation Award in return for his long (and award-winning) career, his superhero cast was on hand to help him celebrate—they even presented him with the award, complete with hilarious bowing. It was all we needed to get even more hyped for the movie's release.

Now to start the long wait until May 1st.
