Ryan Hansen's wife has a bun in the oven!

"Our 3rd Easter Egg! That's right. 3rd. #Machine," he wrote on Instagram Monday.

This will be a busy spring for Ryan, as his Hulu series, Resident Advisors, debuts Apr. 9. "I read that the character's name was Doug Weiner and I'm like, 'I don't even have to read it. I'm in!'" the actor recently told The TV Junkies. Having played Dick Casablancas in UPN's Veronica Mars and in CW Seed's Play It Again, Dick, he added, "I try to go for the most phallic character names as possible."

Jokes aside, Ryan was keen to work with Jamie Chung, who plays a fellow RA.

"We had been friendly but never worked together before. I'm such a fan of hers and I love her so much. She's beautiful and talented and she kicks ass. She wanted to do a comedy, because she had never done one before, but she's so good and natural. It was very easy for her," he said of Jamie, whose TV credits include Believe, Once Upon a Time, Greek, and coincidentally, a 2006 episode of Veronica Mars.

Ryan added that his character has a serious side, too. "He is so passionate for these students that he will do anything to stay in school, try and mentor and lead these kids on the right path. He really is a big lovable teddy bear that just happens to get super drunk with these kids and party. He is kind of an idiot."

"I think his heart is bigger than the goofy persona he puts on," the former Bad Teacher actor continued. "I think throughout the series you get to see that. He grows up, even though he's already a grownup."

Ryan, who is also famous for playing Kyle Bradway on the Starz series Party Down, will also appear in the Apr. 14 episode of The CW's iZombie, titled "Live Until You Die." "I've been loving the show," Ryan said. Without revealing too many plot details, he added, "I play Carson McCone and I'm a pro snowboarder."
