Timo is a ragdoll cat who got a hammock from his owners as a little surprise because he's getting older and he needed a warm, comfy spot to relax after his long day of naps and eating. Timo is really enthusiastic about his new hammock, except he has no idea how to successfully get into the damn thing.
We watched about 20 seconds of the adorable, fluffy shenanigans and then realized that Timo and his struggles are a perfect metaphor for every human being who wakes up on Monday mornings. The weekend is over and we have to go back to work/school/some other place we don't want to go to.
Basically, we are Timo and the hammock is Monday. We want to successfully and happily maneuver our Mondays, but alas…we cannot.
So you wake up with an amazing attitude about the work week. You'll attack Monday with the piss and vinegar of a cheetah hunting its prey! So you metaphorically get a running start on Monday morning only to get this kind of result:
And then you kind of just accept your fate and realize that Mondays will always suck:
But at least on this Monday, we have videos of Timo the ragdoll cat in a hammock. That makes this Monday at least 18 percent better than other Mondays.
