Looks like Kim Kardashian and Jaime King are friends now.

Kanye West's wife and the pregnant Hart of Dixie star were spotted leaving L.A.'s Chateau Marmont together Friday night—nearly two years after Kim made Jaime cry!

Don't remember any drama going down between these two? Well, there were some external forces involved. Let's go back to 2013, when Kim attended the Met Gala for the first time. She was pregnant with North West then and dressed her bump in a custom Givenchy gown designed by Riccardo Tisci.

Kim's daring floral ensemble wasn't received well by all—in fact, a lot of the couture criticism was cutthroat. Jaime, who was also pregnant at the time, took it personally. "I remember going back in my hotel room and crying for like five hours because I kept seeing all these things come up online, all of these horrible pictures and GIFs," she recently told Elle. "I couldn't stop crying because here was this beautiful glowing pregnant woman who is probably so excited to be attending the Met ball for the first time with the man that she loved, and she had this beautiful dress made for her that was very daring and very gorgeous, and she has a beautiful growing child inside of her, and yet everybody bashed her and called her a whale or said she looked like a couch or drapes."

"It was so stunning to me that people thought that that was okay—not only okay but they condoned it," Jaime explained. "They would retweet it, they would talk about it, they would put it on the Internet, they would call her a whale on the cover of a magazine. They would not even think about the way it would affect her mental health and the child's health. It emotionally tapped into a place for me because I was newly pregnant [with my first child]. What kind of world are we living in now where this is okay, where our bodies are being essentially sold to the highest bidder regarding their comments and that we are just put up on a cross to be persecuted?"

Kim later revealed to Jay Leno on the Tonight Show that the criticism about her weight during pregnancy "really did affect" her. "It really hurt my soul," she said. "It changed how I am in the public a little bit...There were these stories where I was, like, 200 pounds. I was gaining weight because I was pregnant and it was really hard to read all these stories and hear all these nasty things. And I think people sometimes question, they think I'm out 'in hiding' now."

"No, I just wanted to kinda adjust my life a little bit because why would I subject myself to so much negativity, especially now that I have a daughter?" she mused. "I just didn't need that energy, I'd rather be in a happy place at home...I've definitely tried to live more of a private life because of that, because they were so nasty. Why even go out as much just to put yourself in that position?"

Kim got her body back, of course, and she's gotten a little revenge in showing it off. In fact the first time she flaunted her post-pregnancy weight loss was with that sexy swimsuit selfie, which was "like my big middle finger to the world on everyone that called me fat."
