Is it getting hot in here?!

Ryan Reynolds is the superhero (actually, anti-hero) of seduction, apparently, as seen in the first photo of himself in his Deadpool costume that he shared on Twitter on Friday.

Wearing the traditional red and black skintight outfit and mask seen on the popular Marvel character, the 38-year-old actor lays casually on a bearskin rug, with one arm propped behind his head, in front of a raging fireplace.

"With great power, comes great irresponsibility," he wrote, parodying a famous line from Spiderman. "#deadpool #officialsuit @deadpoolmovie."

The picture is a parody of a famous 1972 Cosmopolitan nude centerfold photo of another Reynolds—Burt Reynolds, which Ryan also tweeted.

"No bears were harmed in the making of this photo," he added. "Though many bears likely turned on."

Ryan had in February shared a photo showing a prototype of Deadpool's mask, joking that it was a different color than the traditional one.

The actor had played the character, a wise-cracking, neurotic mercenary "anti-hero" whose real name is Wade Wilson, in the 2009 movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine but did not sport the red and black outfit. In that film, he is transformed into a mutant villain and given several superpowers.

Heads up, spoiler alert!

Oh, and he also suffered what appeared to be a party gruesome demise, so it'll be interesting to see how the standalone Deadpool film, also an origin story, will address that.

In a 2009 interview with Hitfix, Ryan said the new movie will be based on the comic books.

"I'm gonna have a messed up face and you may see some flashbacks of Wade earlier in his life," he said. "But primarily what you see is what you get in the comics and that's the goal."

This will mark the third superhero movie for the actor, who also played DC Comics' Green Lantern in a 2001 film. Deadpool hits theaters on Feb. 12, 2016 and also stars Homeland alum Morena Baccarin as mutant shape-shifter Copycat, Fast & Furious 6 actress and former MMA fighter Gina Carano as the super strong mutant Angel Dust and Silicon Valley's T.J. Miller as tech expert Weasel.
