Do you hear that? It's the sound of the world crying one million British tears.

That's right, Downton Abbey is going to be calling it quits after the sixth season. While it's easy to understand the show's reasoning for the ending (it's a quit-while-you're-ahead mentality), it doesn't make the blow any less painful to fans. What is everybody going to do without the Crawleys?! Besides crawl into a hole and cry, obviously.

As one can imagine, people are a bit up in arms about the news of the ending. Even the news of a possible Downton big-screen movie isn't enough to quell their sadness. Fans are as ticked off as the Dowager Countess with a cold cup of tea. They've also taken to Twitter to air their grievances, and it is not pretty. Who knew a bunch of Anglophiles could be so uncivilized?
