If you're feeling like you really need to catch up on your must-see Tom Hanks films, you're in luck. The Oscar winner and Late Late Show host James Corden created a hilarious digest of all of Hanks' iconic movies Monday...in eight minutes. With the help of a green screen and several quick costume changes, both celebs were transported into each film—even the animated ones!
Instead of having to sit through three hours of Hanks becoming BFFs with a volleyball (still crying over Wilson's "death"), you can just watch the Cast Away actor and talk show host act out snippets from movies in his repertoire. They took on Forrest Gump, Big, Bachelor Party, The Money Pit, The 'Burbs, Turner & Hooch, Raod to Perdition, Joe vs. the Volcano, Sleepless in Seattle, Saving Private Ryan, Captain Phillips, The Terminal, A League of Their Own, You've Got Mail and so many more!
The real highlight, however, was when Hanks transitioned from A League of Their Own into You've Got Mail. "There's no crying in baseball!" he shouted, only to remind viewers of his love for Meg Ryan by then saying, "Don't cry, Shopgirl."
Swoon.
Kicking off his Late Late Show debut, Corden didn't skimp at all when it came to taking on Hanks' co-stars, even donning a blond wig to jump from character to character. He also didn't hold back when it came time to talk about a hotly debated incident, which has left Hanks calling the Internet "an idiot."
The issue at hand? The Captain Phillips star's manspreading.
"All right, this pisses me off," Hanks said upon hearing Corden say he had become the face of the issue.
Fellow guest Mila Kunis had never heard of the concept, which Hanks was more than happy to explain LOL.
"You're either a really creepy guy or you're hogging two seats," he stated. But after explaining himself for what seems like the millionth time, Hanks lost his patience.
"Hey, stupid internet, I was not manspreading," he said. "I was just enjoying a pleasant ride on the No. 2 train."
