"The name's Cookie. Ask about me."

Don't worry, we did!

If there's one takeaway from the epic first season of Empire it's that everybody loves Cookie, thanks to Taraji P. Henson's already-iconic portrayal of the fiercely loyal, protective and fabulous mother Lyon.

And before the Fox hit drama began and quickly took over the Internet, co-creator Lee Daniels revealed to E! News he based the character on Joan Collins on Dynasty and some of the women in his life. So how have they reacted to Cookie now that they've seen the show?!

They love it!" Daniels told E! News' Jesse Giddings on the red carpet at the TV Academy's finale screening. "I think, sometimes, it gets personal for my mom, but my family is very excited at the success of the show."

And in the video above, some of Empire's stars reveal their favorite Cookie Lyon quote and moments from the season. And it's clear they're all just as obsessed as we are. Press play now to hear their picks!

Plus, we also got the cast to reveal their dream guest stars for next season, you know, aside from Oprah Winfrey and Denzel Washington. Bryshere Gray is pushing for Queen Latifah, while Jussie Smollett said, "I would love to see Mariah Carey, I'd love to see Janet Jackson and I'd love to see Kanye West."

But you'll never guess who's asking to play Cookie's mom next season. Like ever. Press play on the video below to find out who wants the gig and why she'll never get it!

Empire's two-hour finale airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Fox.
