Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart are like two peas in a pod.

The actors, and co-stars of Get Hard, took their bromance to a whole other level during a hilarious Funny or Die clip that takes viewers inside the grueling audition process for some of their most famous roles.

The only catch? The stars joke that they actually tried out for the same exact films.

That's right, the footage follows Hart doing his best Ron Burgundy impersonation during his audition for Anchorman.

And while he's completely dressed the part in the signature maroon suit, Hart can't seem to deliver the film's hilarious lines quite like the Saturday Night Live alum.

Same goes for Ferrell, too. He tries his hand at the role of Ben Barber from Ride Along, and let's just say that the character gets lost in translation.

"I've always wanted to work with Kevin, but we've never had the chance because our agents always sent us out on the same auditions," Ferrell playfully explained.

After catching a glimpse of Hart trying out for the Anchorman role, Ferrell also shares how he really feels about the never-before-seen (but fictional, people!) audition tape.

"Anchorman, I thought I had that one. Well, at the end of the day, you miss 100 percent of the shots you didn't take," Hart said.

"That was a shot you were literally never going to make," Ferrell replied. "You know what, man? Constructive criticism always is painful."

In addition to promoting his upcoming flick with Hart, Ferrell is set to get his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next week. Congratulations!
