Last Thursday, the former Girls Next Door star's daughter Rainbow Aurora Rotella celebrated her 2nd birthday. Mom Instagrammed a throwback photo of of herself first holding Rainbow in the delivery room the newborn's proud dad Pasquale Rotella looked on with a smile. That wasn't all, though: Holly got Rainbow her very own, customized PizzaCat cake!
"Can't wait til Rainbow sees her cake," wrote Holly, 35, noting that PizzaCat is her mini-me's #FavoriteCharacter. (For those unfamiliar with the cat sticking its face through a hole in a slice of pepperoni pizza, it's an Internet meme which is apparently quite popular with the younger demographic.)
Holly also shared a picture of her baby girl's pink toy car parked alongside her own real pink car in the driveway. "Like mother like daughter," she wrote of the sweet snap.
Life has certainly changed for Holly since becoming a mom, but she wouldn't have it any other way. "I am much more selective about the appearance I do because of the time it takes away from Rainbow,' she told Mini Magazine last year. "I can't be this Tasmanian devil, whirling around to party after party every night anymore."
"Babies and toddlers simply demand all of your time," she said. "If I am alone with my daughter, I just have to accept that I am not going to get anything accomplished besides being a mom."
She was asked by the Las Vegas Review to describe motherhood in five words, to which she replied, "Amazing. Beautiful. Wonderful. Tiring. Challenging."
It's all worth it, though—terrible twos and all! Holly loves being a mom so much that she and Pasquale are already thinking about expanding their family. As for when they'd like to have baby No. 2? "Definitely in the next couple years," she said. "We want rainbow to have siblings relatively close to her in age."
Let's hope Rainbow eventually gets a baby brother or sister who can appreciate PizzaCat as much as she does!
