New details have emerged since Jenelle Evans' fiancé was arrested for domestic violence Wednesday. A source close to Jenelle tells E! News exclusively that Jenelle feels Nathan Griffith wasn't completely faithful to the Teen Mom 2 star.
"He's been talking to another girl for two weeks," the source tells us, adding that this could have been the cause of their intense fight.
Per the source, Nathan "felt like he cheated on someone and then admitted he's been seeing someone else for two weeks."
Jenelle had come home after spending the night at a hotel because she wanted to grab some of her personal belongings for school, but Nathan allegedly wouldn't let her leave until she gave back the ring.
According to our source and a police report obtained by E! News, Jenelle wouldn't hand the ring over, which then caused him to pin her "up on the toilet seat" and "wrestle" her to give it back. The situation turned violent after Nathan allegedly ripped the ring off of Jenelle's finger, causing her to bleed, per the report.
MTV could have been filming at the time at the incident because according to the report, "MTV security came into the residence due to [Jenelle's] screaming during the altercation." However, the camera crew that was on scene told police they were outside at the time of the incident so they didn't witness anything.
Although our source says Jenelle isn't "sticking up for him" because they're "completely over."
"It was a big deal but wasn't a big deal," the source adds. "He didn't intend to hurt [Jenelle] on purpose, but he shouldn't have wrestled her or touched her, period."
According to the police report, however, Nathan claims he "never touched" Jenelle. "[Nathan] states [Jenelle] got upset with him and took the engagement ring off and thew it at him which caused the cut on her finger."
Although Nathan was arrested for domestic violence, the police report states that he claims Jenelle has been "violent with him" in the past and even showed police "old marks" on his back.
This incident was the last straw for Jenelle, as the source tells us, "It's over and she is looking for an apartment for her and the baby [Kaiser] today."
