McCain-Montag: That's the Ticket

Is it any coincidence that Republican presidential nominee John McCain got Heidi Montag's endorsement on the very same day he revealed he was compiling a list of potential vice presidential candidates?

And disclosed that he never misses an episode of The Hills...

No, it's not.

Clearly, Heidi's on the vice presidential shortlist. Because she's got what it takes. 

Heidi Montag is: 

• comfortable being famous for doing nothing

• willing to go anywhere, do anything for a photo op

• much more accessible than Dick Cheney, svelter than Al Gore

• skilled in dealing with petty dictators [see: Spencer]

Pretty compelling stuff. We're still waiting for the McCain press office to return our call for comment.

We suspect we may be waiting a long time.
