Awards season can be super exciting and fun—the glitz, the glamour, the star-studded parties...

But those star-studded parties can also be the same part of red carpet season that sucks, because everyone goes to the same events and therefore the chances of running into someone you probably don't wanna see is infinitely greater.

Which brings us to Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom and Selena Gomez. The trio all showed up to the famous Vanity Fair Oscars after-party on Sunday night, resulting in a very close encounter with what could have been a super awkward run-in.

An eyewitness tells E! News the three stars were all within minutes of each other when leaving the party at the end of the night, adding that they all seemed to avoid one another when grabbing their rides back home.

According to the source, Kerr looked oblivious to it all, smiling and seeming to have had a great night as she headed out, similar to Bloom, who also appeared to be in a good mood. Selena, meanwhile, didn't look very comfortable with whatever was happening, and kinda crouched behind Rosie Huntington-Whiteley while waiting to leave.

(But maybe she was just tired and craving a fourth meal? We've all been there.)

Regardless, the eyewitness tells E! News that there "did not appear to be any drama, everyone left without incident." That's always a good thing!

In case you're reading this and still questioning what the Kerr-Bloom-Gomez connection is, we'll gladly remind you.

The Miranda and Orlando tie-in is obvious—they're exes. However, they've remained pretty amicable since their split, and Bloom reportedly stopped Kerr mid-interview on the red carpet to embrace in a quick hello and kiss on the cheek.

So where does Selena come in?

It's all pretty complicated, but basically, there was once a rumor that something was brewing between Justin Bieber and Miranda from back in the day, and then dating speculation between Selena and Orlando surfaced, causing this huge, messy love triangle square.

Yeah, we told you it was complicated.

All of the romance rumors were said to be false, and Miranda and Selena even posed for a photo together while at Louis Vuitton's show during Paris Fashion Week in October.

So maybe it's all good?
