While prepping to hit the red carpet at the 2015 Oscars, Reese Witherspoon's phone was blowing up. No, not from friends wishing her luck as she's nominated for her work in Wild (though we're sure she received some of those!), but from her mother, Betty!
Witherspoon, 38, took to Instagram to share some of the adorable and slightly hilarious messages she received from her mother.
"I am at whole foods after church getting ready for oscar party," Betty wrote, only to add a little later, "Whole foods so busy I feel like I am in LA."
And while she wanted to wish her daughter and her co-star Laura Dern good luck on Hollywood's biggest night, Betty also asked Witherspoon to say hello to host Neil Patrick Harris for her. And amazing daughter that she is, Witherspoon replied, "Neil is pretty busy but I will make sure I say hi."
The best part? Betty signs every single message with a heart emoji and "mom." Awww!
But this isn't the first time Witherspoon has shared some of her mom's awards show texts with fans, as she also posted some cute messages before the Golden Globes!
