Free coffee is the best coffee—especially when it's from someone like Christina Aguilera!

The Voice coach decided to make a number of java drinkers' day yesterday when she surprised customers at a Starbucks in New York City's Rockefeller Center Concourse location with a very generous visit.

"Christina came in the store around 5 p.m. yesterday. There were only about 10 people in the store at first, but when people started to realize who she was more and more came in," a source tells E! News. "Everyone recognized her immediately and rushed over to meet her."

But that's not all...

The insider continued, "I'd say about 20 more people came into the store. She took a lot of time to take pictures with the customers. She actually walked up to the register and put down some cash and said, ‘…anyone who comes up now until the sun comes home, it's on me.' She didn't even get herself a drink!"

Oh, what?! Bless you, Xtina (and bless those baristas who were probably stressed with the rush of what we can only assume were complicated Venti drinks with all the fixings).

Aguilera also extended the kind gesture to her Twitter followers, posting a photo of herself writing on a Starbucks cup and captioning the pic, "Coffee on me for the next hour! Head to 30 Rock! XoXtina."

And although the source wouldn't confirm a specific dollar amount spent by the soulful singer, it's clear that her random act of kindness proved to be priceless for a number of coffee drinkers who were lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time yesterday.

The insider added, "It was really fun, It was a good time for everyone who was around."
