Keira Knightley is taking this whole motherhood thing in stride.

The pregnant actress stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live and joked that she's "in denial at the moment" about the arrival of her little one.

And considering she's in the middle of a hectic awards season, and thousands of miles away from her home in London, it's safe to say that Knightley probably doesn't have a lot of free time on her hands to start nesting and getting ready for the baby!

Knightley, who admitted to Jimmy Kimmel that she doesn't know the sex of her baby just yet, played around with the late-night host about what kind of nursery she has in mind for her first child.

"Do they need a room of their own?" she playfully asked. "A small room would be better really…a cupboard."

And considering he just became a father again less than a year ago, Kimmel offered a bit of advice (or, really, more of a warning) about what to watch out for when changing newborn's diapers.

Knightley seemed to be completely in shock about the whole thing, especially the part when Kimmel shared that things can get, well, messy with baby boys.

"You mean when I get piss in my face, I'm not allowed to abandon it?" she asked while giggling.

Knightley also joked that it's "been a very sober awards season" for her, which was also the case when she was nominated for her first Oscar when she was just 20 years old.

"Horrifically, in this country you can't drink until you're 21 so last time I was sober as well," she shared before sarcastically saying, "I was so good, as well I was obviously completely sober."
