InstagramSports Illustrated Swimsuit model Katherine Webb is defending her body after several people criticized her for allegedly being too thin.
The 25-year-old, a former Miss Alabama USA and wife of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback AJ McCarron who has competed on reality TV and bit into giant Carls Jr. burgers in 2013 ads, had on Wednesday posted on her Instagram page a photo of herself in a bikini, slouching slightly while standing in between two people.
While the photo was liked more than 5,200 times, some people called her "anorexic" and left comments such as "someone please give her a sandwich" and "have a donut, make that a dozen," the latter two of which were written by men.
"To all of you who think I need to gain weight or eat more, I eat just fine," she wrote in response, alongside a screenshot of some of the comments she had received. "I am 5'11 so I have a lot more places to put my calories. I eat crap most of the time anyways."
"And to all the middle-aged women who like to leave mean comments on my page about my body, you can gladly skip my page and go somewhere else. I am tall, I eat just fine and also suffer from thyroid problems so don't make fun of me or my body when you probably have problems of your own. I rarely react to this kind of stuff, but this really bothers me."
Webb, who appeared in the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, has modeled and turned heads for years. In 2013, she became a viral sensation after a live broadcast of the 2013 BCS National Championship Game, during which footage of her in stands was shown or several seconds, complete with commentary about her looks.

Webb has always appeared slim in public photos and has shared bikini pics before, which had also drawn judgmental comments, as well as highly perverted ones, which she did not address.
