Captain America (Chris Evans) and Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) aren't the only superheroes doing super stuff in real life—the Arrow (Stephen Amell) is using his powers for good, too!

The Chrises helped bring joy to sick kids, but Stephen made parents Korey and Matt Finch smile again after suffering the heartbreaking loss of their son, Damian Atticus Finch, who died Sept. 23, 2014, while still in the womb after becoming entangled in his umbilical cord.

Korey recapped the experience in a Buzzfeed post, explaining that because their baby boy was named after Damian Wayne (son of Batman), they planned a superhero themed memorial for him. "We asked everyone to wear capes or come in superhero costume, because of how his name came about," she wrote.

Because Damian's parents "are HUGE fans of Arrow," they reached out to Stephen on Facebook "to see if maybe he would send something to the memorial."

As Korey noted, "His response to my request was not at all what I expected..."

After expressing his sincere condolences, the Arrow star shared a suggestion. "Tell you what...I'm going to be in Dallas this February," he wrote. "Let's chat closer to the date and I'll set something up for you guys."

In December, Korey followed up, "AND HE REMEMBERED," she wrote. "So he had one of his handlers contact me."

From there, Stephen's team arranged for Korey, Matt "and whoever is coming with you to the convention" to meet the actor at Dallas Comic Con—getting them all VIP tickets and front row seats to the actor's panel.

Korey described the first time she met Stephen, writing, "When I saw him, I couldn't help but just wrap my arms around him, and he comforted me." He also put on a shirt the Finches made in honor of Damian.

"I bawled," wrote Korey. "When he dedicated the panel to my husband and I, I straight up ugly cried. He wore the shirt THE WHOLE PANEL."

In her Buzzfeed post, she thanked Stephen, "a class act, and a phenomenal man," writing, "4 months ago my world was shattered, and in two days, Stephen Amell brought me more happiness than I have felt since my son died. He went above and beyond to do something special for my family and friends. And for that, I will be forever grateful."
