Bobbi Kristina Brown's Neighbor Reported Domestic Dispute at Her and Nick Gordon's Address a Week Before Hospitalization

Security guard called 911 and told dispatcher a resident had reported to him that ''people were hitting each other'' in front of their town home

UPDATE: Roswell Police tells E! News that cars were dispatched to the address but officers discovered no disturbance and no one was home; therefore, the call was cleared as unfounded and a police report was never filed.

As police confirm that they are now conducting a criminal investigation into what happened to Bobbi Kristina Brown on the morning of Jan. 31, a 911 call shows that there may have been trouble at her home the week beforehand as well.

"Just had a neighbor call and report saying people were hitting each other and swinging outside in front of the townhomes in Ellard Village," a man who identified himself as Rick Gilbert from Ellard Securities said in a 911 call made Jan. 23, a copy of which was obtained by E! News.

Asked if he knew the names of any of the parties involved, had any descriptions of the people involved or knew how many people were involved, Gilbert said that he did not, but the address he gave was that of the three-bedroom townhouse shared by Bobbi Kristina and longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Since Gilbert lacked more specific details, the dispatcher then recommended that he call the neighbor back and tell them to call 911 themselves.

Authorities released the recording to the media today. Additionally, Roswell Police Chief Rusty Grant confirmed to CNN in an email that they are in the middle of an "ongoing criminal investigation" concerning Bobbi Kristina. The 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston remains on life support at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta, 10 days after she was found facedown and unresponsive in a bathtub full of water at her home.

Bobby Brown also referred to the "criminal investigation" in a statement released by his camp today in which he blasted certain media outlets for irresponsibly reporting on his daughter's condition.

Moreover, a source close to the family told E! News that there was no truth to reports that Bobbi Kristina would be taken off of life support on Wednesday, which is the third anniversary of Houston's death. The iconic pop-R&B star was 48 when she accidentally drowned in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel on the day before the 2012 Grammys; an autopsy determined that cocaine and heart disease were contributing factors.
