Getty Images… Consider us utterly speechless. In fact, the only response to the following photos has to go something like: ?!?!?!?!??!?!
There are plenty of gorgeous gowns and couture confections that float down the runways during fashion week, but these are not them. These outlandish designs aren't just bad, they're bizarre. Some are quirky and others are just flat out mental. In fact, they're just so insane we don't even understand how these models got into many of the ensembles.
We're talking elephant head suits, dinner-tables-turned-dress, even a Kermit the Frog coat. And it only gets better from there— there're Legos glued to faces, S&M wear that might make Christian Grey blush and, yes, even penis-baring tunics. Overall, it's not that we wouldn't want to wear these looks. It's that we couldn't wear these looks in public without risking being institutionalized. But enjoying wacky fashion from a safe distance in anticipation of New York Fashion Week Fall 2015's kickoff? We're down.
In sum: Go home designers, you're drunk!
