On Saturday, stars like Vanessa Lachey, Ali Larter and Rachel Zoe fêted the model mama at a very girly baby shower, a source tells E! News. There were about thirty ladies at the luncheon—most of them moms—so "there was a lot of talking shop about kids and babies!"
Guests sipped on pre-lunch mimosas and champagne in a courtyard, all while wearing "pink name tags on diaper pins," says an onlooker. "Most people knew each other and were hugging and excited to see each other."
Vanessa, who gave birth to daughter Brooklyn Jan. 5, and Ali, who welcomed baby Vivienne Jan. 19, "were both talking about their newborn baby girls," says a source. "Everyone seemed so excited that Molly is having a girl, and they had fun seeing all of the adorable baby girl clothes she got!"
"Everyone was so generous with their gifts," adds an insider, noting that Molly's baby-to-be is already well stocked with NUNA's IVVI stroller, a PIPA car seat, and presents from Fred Segal, Bonpoint and Petit Bateau.
Not to worry, though: The boys weren't forgotten! At the end of the shower, Molly's hubby Scott Stuber and their 2-year-old son Brooks arrived, and according to a source, the family hugged and took lots of pictures together.
"It was a great afternoon," adds an insider. "It was almost dark by the time people began to leave. Even though it started to rain, it didn't dampen their spirits!"
