19 People Who Only Know Tom Jones Because of Fresh Prince

Because Fresh Prince is where we learned everything, right?

It's not unusual to be unfamiliar with Tom Jones, apparently.

The singing legend has been in the spotlight for more than 50 years, but for some he will always be the singer who gave us "It's Not Unusual," the soundtrack to Carlton's epic dance moves on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

As we all know, Tom Jones was Carlton's dream guardian angel and dance inspiration on the show.

Some fans watching the 2015 Grammy Awards can't seem to understand why the musician would do anything that doesn't have to do with Fresh Prince.

And while we totally understand their Fresh Prince obsession, because Fresh Prince is doctrine and we reference it on a daily basis, we should probably let Tom have his moment, right?
