When Jennifer Lopez's lips are moving, Meghan Trainor listens.
"Be very picky and know what you deserve," was the dating advice J.Lo gave the "All About That Bass" singer, Trainor told Ryan Seacrest on E!'s Live From the Red Carpet tonight.
"That's why I'm here," Trainor's date for the evening, her dad Gary, chimed in.
"That's why I brought dad," the two-time nominee agreed, her support system fully in place she she win (or lose) the Grammys for Record and Song of the Year for her monster-hit single.
"I'm extremely proud and happy to be here," Papa Trainor confirmed as much to Ryan.
Calling the whole night "a dream come true," Meghan said about the Grammys, "I watch this specific thing every single time and I can't believe I'm standing up here right now with my adorable father."
