They say it takes a village to get a celebrity red carpet ready.

What does it really take? We asked two of COVERGIRL Katy Perry's top style and beauty advisers to take us on the journey to the red carpet. Meet: celebrity stylist Johnny Wujek and makeup artist Jake Bailey's Instagrams—and a few behind-the-scenes photos exclusive to the E! Style Collective.

From the looks of it, Johnny and Jake have been working for days, but it's all paid off. Katy looks beautiful in her Zuhair Murad sparkly stunner (which we kind of predicted) and purple hair.

Jake finalized Katy's beauty looks a few moments before the Grammys red carpet. Here, he applied COVERGIRL Bloom Mascara to volumize and lengthen her lashes.
