Pink bowtie, white suit—look familiar?
Charli XCX's funky Moschino suit and bubblegum pink bowtie makes us think of the Party Down crews' catering ensembles. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter's iridescent white suite looked awfully familiar on the 2015 Grammys red carpet, save her version featured a pearly fur stole and a ruffled undershirt. And while Charli's jazzy ensemble may have raised a few brows, at least it's not dull.
"I hate boring fashion!" the singer dished on the red carpet. Mission accomplished, Charli: This is definitely eye catching.
Recall the tacky catering uniform made its first appearance on the cast of the Party Down, the short lived Showtime series featuring a loveable group of failed actors working in Los Angeles. The series stared the likes of Jane Lynch, Adam Scott, Lizzy Caplan and Ken Marino to name a few, and still maintains a loyal cult following.
