Introducing a transformed Kim Kardashian...again.

The 34-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star debuted a new hairstyle on Friday via a (what else?) selfie—she hacked off what looks to be almost a foot of hair, leaving behind a wavy, sassy, shoulder-length 'do. She stepped out that day with her new haircut, parted to the side, while walking near a DMV office with mom and co-star Kris Jenner, not far from their home in the Los Angeles area.

Both dressed in black. Kardashian sported a long-sleeve, V-neck top that showcased plenty of cleavage, paired with a matching asymmetrical, over-the-knee wrap skirt and gladiator sandals, while her mother wore a flared double-breasted coat, leather pants and laced boots.

Kardashian underwent her hair transformation two days before the 2015 Grammy Awards. She is set to accompany husband Kanye West, who will perform with Rihanna and Sir Paul McCartney. The hip-hop star is also nominated for Grammys for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Song for the track "Bound 2." (Check out a full list of Grammy nominations.)

For years, Kardashian has sported long, sleek, brunette tresses, usually styled straight. She went blonde in 2013 and switched back to a dark hair color after almost five months, just ahead of a Vogue magazine cover shoot with then-fiancé West. The two, parents to daughter North West, 1, wed in May 2014.

Kardashian also dyed her hair blonde in August 2009 after she and then-boyfriend Reggie Bush broke up.
