This year's awards show season has delivered some eye-opening cat-eyes and jaw-dropping red lips.

Not to be left out or outdone, the Grammys brought some of the boldest beauty combos of the season so far. The fierce cat-eye wings and all of the lip the stars were giving us only left us wanting more. We know because your #GetThatGlam tweets were in full swing and, friends, we're going to deliver.

Beauty vlogger Aspyn Ovard joined forces with our friends at COVERGIRL to show us how she rocks this classic eye and lip-popping Grammys trend.

Aspyn wasted no time getting her eyeliner to purr with COVERGIRL Perfect Point Eyeliner. After flattening out the liner on the palm of her hand, she created a thick line over her eye line before sketching out the wing toward the tail end of her eyebrow.

To ensure a clean line, the beauty guru used a cotton swab with makeup remover, then concealer on the bottom edge of her freshly painted wing. Aspyn swiped on some mascara to finish up her flawless cat-eye look.

One misconception that many people have is that red is not their color, but as Aspyn explained in her tutorial, knowing your skin tone can be the secret to getting the perfect red lip.

Take a look at your wrists; do your veins appear to have a purple or green tint to them? If yes to either, you might have predominately red or yellow-toned skin, meaning warm tones could work best for you. If your veins appear blue, it means you could have more blue in your skin, making you cool toned.

The beauty guru uses COVERGIRL Cololicious Lipstick in Red Hot 305, which is a universal red that can flatter most skin tones.

Watch the video for the perfect reds for warm and cool-toned skin.

Cat-eyes and red lips aren't just for the red carpet or solely meant for nights out on the town. This can be the perfect everyday look for the times when you don't want to wear a lot of makeup but still want to stand out.
